The Dhamma Vinaya Order is a lay Buddhist order with three levels of ordination. Those levels are the following.
Upasaka: A lay person who has formally taken refuge in the three jewels and committed to practicing the five precepts: no killing, no stealing, no sexual misconduct, no false or harmful speech, and no abuse of substances
Dhammacari: A lay Dhamma teacher who in addition to Upasaka commitments is able to teach, lead practices, and guide study
Bodhicari: A lay Dhamma teacher who in addition to Dhammacari commitments is able to transmit the precepts and lead rituals and rites of passage
